Terms
These terms cover the Crosscheck web site, web app, mobile app, and the messages Crosscheck sends on behalf of a team. By creating an account or using a check-in link you agree to them.
The beta
Crosscheck is in a closed beta. Features change, some are incomplete, and we may pause or end access to fix things. We will tell you before we delete a team, and you can export your roster and schedule at any time by asking support.
Your team, your data
Managers are responsible for the roster they add. Add only people who play for or help run the team and who expect to hear from it. If a player asks to stop receiving messages, they can reply STOP or ask you; either way, we honor it.
Text messages
Publishing a season sends messages to the roster by text and email. Message frequency depends on the team schedule. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Crosscheck to send messages unrelated to the team.
- Do not add numbers or emails you do not have permission to use.
- Do not try to reach another team's data or break the service.
Accounts
Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
No warranty
Crosscheck is provided as is during the beta. We work hard to keep it accurate, but the schedule of record is whatever your league says it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a missed game, a short bench, or anything else that follows from using the service.
Ending things
You can delete your account or your team at any time. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. Either way, the privacy page describes what happens to the data.
Changes
We will update these terms as the beta matures and tell managers by email when something material changes. Continuing to use Crosscheck after that means you accept the new terms.
