Crosscheck is a hockey team manager. A team manager adds a roster so that players can be told when the next game is and can say whether they are in. This page explains what we keep, why, and how to get it removed.

What we collect

Text messages

A player only receives texts because their team manager added their number to the roster and published the season. Messages are about that team: game reminders, a personal check-in link, and confirmations of the answer given. We do not send marketing texts and never sell or share numbers with other companies for their marketing.

How we use it

To run the team: show the manager who is in, send the messages the manager publishes, and keep a history of what changed. We do not use roster data to build advertising profiles.

Who can see it

Managers of a team see the roster for that team. Players see their own answers and the game details. We use a small number of service providers to deliver email and text messages, host the database, and collect error reports; each one is bound to use the data only to provide that service to us.

Keeping and deleting it

Roster and schedule data stays as long as the team is active on Crosscheck. A manager can remove a player at any time. A player can ask to be removed from every team by emailing support from the address or number on the roster; we complete removal within 30 days and keep only what the law requires.

Children

Crosscheck is built for adult recreational teams. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 16.

Changes

During the closed beta this page may change as the product does. Material changes are announced to managers by email.
